 "OHANA OF PRAISE" We are a family that praises God through our gift of dance. This gift was given to us six years ago through the vision of three hula sisters. With the grace of God “Ohana of Praise” has grown through the blessings of our women, men and keiki dancers; all with the same purpose – to praise our Lord through dance. We are here to give all honor and glory to our Heavenly Father, for it is His gift that we share.
We offer ourselves freely. “We are the sweet fragrance of Christ unto God” (2 Corinthians 2:15). The bible says that every morning God’s people brought free will offerings to Him, and that God is pleased with our sacrifice of praise (Hebrews 13:15), and that our prayers go up before God as a sweet smelling sacrifice. He wants us to bring ourselves to him every morning and say “God, here I am”. I am to be a living sacrifice. Like our faith in God, the joy and love of hula comes from within and it is a gift that should be shared. On behalf of Saddleback Hula Ministry and our Ohana Praise Band, welcome all of you here today, as we give honor and glory to our Heavenly Father; for “this is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
